Adele’s Las Vegas residency has been postponed due to “delivery delays” and “COVID.”
While many fans were looking forward to seeing Adele in her Las Vegas residency, it appears like they will have to wait a little longer.
The chart-topping performer broke down in tears on Twitter on Thursday, announcing that her residency will be postponed. “I’m really sorry, but my show ain’t ready,” Adele said. We’ve done everything we can to complete it on schedule and to ensure that it meets your expectations. However, shipping delays and COVID have completely killed us. “It’s been tough to finish the show because half of my team is out with COVID.”
“I’m gutted,” Adele continued. Please accept my apologies for the short notice. We’ve been up for more than 30 hours trying to figure it out. We’ve run out of time, and I’m quite disappointed and ashamed.” Adele tweeted that all of her gigs will be rescheduled, adding that she is “very sorry to everyone who is traveling.”
The news comes less than 24 hours before she was set to serenade the audience with her voice. The “Weekend With Adele” series, which was announced in November 2021, was set to include Adele performing every weekend until April 2022.
